Barking and Dagenham College was named as a champion of skills and training in the creative industries at a national awards ceremony.
Taking place in Salford, Greater Manchester, on 16 April, the Creative & Cultural Skills Awards event was attended by 200 people and saw individuals and organisations recognised for work which contributed to building the UK's burgeoning creative industries.
The award for Training Provider of the Year went to the creative industries team at Barking and Dagenham College.
The judging team said: "They have shown great success in helping young people to gain industry-relevant skills and training.
"Their commitment to apprenticeships and work with industry has ensured that these experiences have strengthened their students' opportunities for employment. The creative and cultural industries team is responsible for training new talent for our sector through the courses they teach and apprenticeships they offer."
